Invisalign

Is a great way to straighten teeth without the look of metal braces. Invisalign consists of a series of clear removable aligners that are changed every two weeks. As you replace each aligner your teeth will move gradually until they have straightened to the desired position.
Invisalign is completely removable so you can eat and drink whatever you wish during treatment.

Tooth Coloured Fillings

At Beenyup Dental Centre we do not use amalgam “silver” fillings but use tooth coloured fillings. These restorations are not only strong and durable but look like natural teeth.

Teeth Whitening

Beenyup Dental Centre offers patient’s cosmetic teeth whitening. The whitening or bleaching process used by our dentists are safe, effective and painless. There are different whitening procedures available at our surgery they include:

  • 1. ZOOM Insurgery Bleaching. This procedure takes place in the surgery and only takes 90mins. The whitening gel is applied to the teeth and then activated with a special light which safely whitens the teeth. This method is convenient and is effective in having an immediate result. Zoom also offers products to be used at home to help maintain the level of whiteness you desire.
  • 2. Take Home Bleaching. This procedure allows you to whiten your teeth at your own convenience at home. Special whitening trays are custom made to fit your mouth. These trays are then filled with special dental bleach and worn daily for 30mins for approximately one week or until you have reached your desired shade.

Crowns
Are extremely versatile. They can be used to restore severely broken down or weak teeth, align crowding or protruding teeth, close gaps or lighten tooth colour. The strength and appearance of crowns rival that of natural teeth and they are used to make long lasting changes to the smile.30mins for approximately one week or until you have reached your desired shade.

Porcelain Veneers
A porcelain veneer is a very thin piece of dental porcelain that is bonded to the front surface of a tooth. It is often used in Cosmetic Dentistry to change the appearance of a tooth, by changing its shape, colour or alignment. It is also used to repair small to medium fractures in front teeth.

Dental porcelain is a versatile and attractive material that can be customised to match nearby teeth, or to create a whole new look. It looks very similar to dental enamel and gives teeth a very natural appearance. Perfect for creating the smile you have always desired.

Bridges
When you have one or more missing teeth then a dental bridge may be used to restore the resulting gaps and is supported by adjacent teeth or implants.

Our technicians are highly skilled in cosmetic dentistry and are able to create the illusion that the missing tooth emerges from the gum just like a natural tooth to ensure no one will know that you ever had a tooth missing.

Dental Implants
Implants are the modern way to replace missing teeth. The implant which is made of titanium is fitted in the bone where the tooth root would normally be.

When fully integrated to the bone a post (or abutment) is attached to the implant and a crown, bridge or denture is then placed over the abutment to replace the missing tooth or teeth.

Snap On Smile
Snap on smile is a comfortable, removable dental appliance that requires no tooth preparation, no injections, and involves no adhesives. It’s exclusive design is flexible, incredibly strong and snaps right over a patient’s natural teeth.

Snap on smile is removable, completely reversible and is an excellent option for patients looking for a non- invasive, affordable approach to restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dentures
Complete and partial dentures are some of the most widely used replacements for missing teeth and offer a less permanent but more cost effective solution than dental implants and crowns or bridges.

Complete dentures replace an entire upper and/ or lower arch and they are held in place by adhesive gel and suction. In selected cases they can be supported by implants and retained by screws, providing excellent stability and more comfort than traditional dentures.

Partial dentures are used to fill the space left by a number of missing teeth which also prevents remaining teeth from moving out of alignment. They are attached to the surrounding natural teeth by small clasps.
